We associate with uniqueness because every product that we make ensures that you have more reasons to be happy for. We are also unique because any product that you order with us, comes with an artwork created by Judy Strom. We can also create customized artwork for you.
Judy was raised in Elmhurst, Illinois and showed an interest in art and drawing at a very young age.
While raising her children she continued her love of art by designing and creating costumes for a dancing studio and fashions for a small clientele.
During her career with the Glen Ellyn Newspaper she started her own graphic design company specializing in advertising print media and political brochures.
She retired from 25 years as a corporate trainer from a large Chicago company and moved to Florida.
Judy Studied at the Art Institute of Chicago and has a degree in Communication Science from the College of DuPage in Illinois.
Her art has spanned the range of acrylic, oil and collage/mixed media before settling on watercolor as her central focus. In Florida she has honed her skills from many expert watercolor teachers.
After pursuing her artwork for a few years and winning awards at local art shows, she found that there was a market for her work. In 2008 she was joined in business by her husband, Rod Strom, forming Judy's Art Store and Bay Lake Publishing LLC.
Rod had a successful background in business and creative marketing. He offered a package of talent that most artists find as obstacles to conducting a successful art business.
Judy's Art Store developed an excellent reputation in the business community, and is known for high quality products and outstanding customer service. The collaboration with clients and attention to detail still continues today as Judy operates the business by herself.
Note: Rod passed away January 18, 1918.
